Robin's Journey Flash 55

A part of me died with my sister when she passed away. This is literally true; she had one of my kidneys. Her compassion for others, her love of family and friends, and her courage through adversity are ingrained in my memory, and provide an example of how life should be lived to its fullest.

I am currently working on Robin's Journey to be posted soon.

  2. I am looking forward to reading about Robin's journey -- and yours along with her. What you've done is also a testament and example of compassion, love, and courage.

  3. Thanks, guys! I have been going thru a box of kleenex as I write this story, but it feels right to tell it now. I've also connected with a couple of her good friends who are helping me with some details I missed while away at college.

  5. I really want to read this! I lost my dad to liver cancer about 18 mos ago and the pain still burns like a hot iron inside me. I felt teared up just reading your 55 words. I hope to be able to see the final result!

  6. Thank you for your encouragement. It's a tough one to write, but it is important to those who knew her to have this story told.
