My first attempt at growing watermelons was a marginal success. I did succeed in growing two. Here is a picture of one - a beauty, don't you think?

Oh my! It's exceptional. Exceptionally small, that is. :) Could you win a place in the Guinness Book of World Records for the teeniest, tiniest watermelon?
ReplyDeleteI hope I don't seem critical because I'm not. I've never grown one so who am I to judge. Your melon is actually darn cute. Now I must ask: How did it taste? I bet it was superb. The best things come in little packages, you know!!

Aren't they just the cutest thing you've seen? The one we dipped our spoon into for one bite from each half was GOOD!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely adorable! I love them. Miniature squashes (like pattypan) are kind of the rage here as artisanal (i.e. super expensive) vegetables.
