Texture from the Coachella Valley

Our trip to Palm Springs was grand (even though it rained one day!) During our sightseeing adventures, I snapped pictures of the wonderful texture of the landscape and foliage.

  1. Wow! What a gorgeous group of textures, colors and shapes! It must have been delightful seeing all of these sights and capturing them on your camera forever.

I'm going back to look at all of them again. They're overwhelming in their diversity. Thank you so much for allowing us to see what you saw.

Welcome back from your incredible trip.

  3. Oh, wow - these pictures are terrific. Looks like a beautiful place (I've never been to Palm Springs.) Thanks for sharing.

And I hope some of those cacti show up somewhere in your writing!

  4. Thanks Ladies! We had a great time in the sun. Only one day of rain. Johsua Tree National Forest was amazing - the rock formations were unbelievable. We also road the Tram to the top of Mt. San Jacinto Mountain (8500 feet.) We went from 2500ft elevation to 8500ft in 2 1/2 minutes. View was outstanding. Most of the cactus photos were taken at a cactus botanical garden. I was captivated by all the shapes and textures. Fun time! How I will use them in my writing is still a mystery.
